Bruce W. Nash, Managing Director
Mr. Nash is an experienced senior level executive and Business
Professional with more than 25 years of experience in Management,
Sales, Strategic Planning and Contract Negotiations. He has been
responsible for Business Development, Project Implementation
Management, and consulting projects with many top fortune 500 companies
and start-up companies, including IBM, Raychem/Tyco, Kaiser, Syntex,
Tivo, Sprint, Hewlett Packard, Excite@Home, Visa, and Sony.
Prior to launching Next Venture Consulting, Mr. Nash founded NewTalk Inc.—a real-time Speech to Speech technology company—and serves as CEO. Additionally, Mr. Nash served as President of Quality Apex,
a software development and testing company. He also served as President
of BES and Vice President of Sales and Operations for Software Advanced
Technologies, a company specializing in test plan engineering,
automated and manual software testing, and software security analysis.
Mr. Nash worked closely with the management team as an executive and
board member to drive the company's strategic direction and to ensure
that product and service offerings continued to be aligned with current
and future customer needs. Mr. Nash holds a Bachelor's degree
in Business Management from Morgan State University, Maryland and is
pursuing his MBA from Notre Dame de Namur University, Belmont CA.
Alphonso F. Gipson, Managing Director
Executive level expertise and adept human resources, business and sales leader with 25+ years of multi-industry and multi-site global experience in managing and creating effective HR and sales strategies to meet specific organizational needs with some of Silicon Valley's top fortune 100 and 500 companies. Identifies and employs innovative solutions for recruitment, leadership development, employee safety and performance. Drives cost efficient HR improvements creating profitability and employee productivity. Mr. Gipson has been employed at executive level positions by and or consulted for some of the following companies: Applied Materials, Lam Research, Cypress Semiconductor, Sandisk, Sun Power and Sanmina, Daimler Mercedes, Intel Corporation. For over a decade and prior to Mr. Gipson's partnership with Next Venture Consulting, he was the founder and CEO of On Point Staffing Corporation.
Mr. Gipson received awards from the Tech Museum of Innovation Philanthropic award, Superintendent of California Schools award of excellence, Silicon Valley Technology award for bringing business education programs to Stanford University, UC Berkeley schools of engineering, Foothill, De Anza Community colleges. Al has a Bachelor of Science, Double Major, Business Mgmt. & Psychology from California Coast University.
Harold A. Nizamian, Managing Director
Nizamian has been with NewTalk for the past three years. As former CEO
of Dakin, Inc. Mr. Nizamian built a $240 million dollar company with
sales and distribution in 85 countries. He is considered the father of
Garfield and introduced the famous cat into the toy/gift industry in 43
countries. Mr. Nizamian was chairman of the Toy Industry Safety
Committee for two terms. He built a successful start up division for
Monogram Products, Largo, FL and achieved sales of 8 million in two
years. Mr. Nizamian speaks seven languages; he brings a wealth of
business acumen and is a graduate of the UC Berkeley Business School.
Sam Young, Managing Director
Sam has over 35 years of experience in memory, logic, solar energy, cloud computing, software, RF and embedded products during which time he was responsible for defining product lines, sales and managing P&L.
He is co-founder of three high technology companies including Flash pioneer Exel Microelectronics (fundamental patent for Flash memory), Corsair Microsystems (leading supplier of DRAM and Flash modules with several hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue) and Hyundai Electronics Flash memory division currently doing in excess of $2 billion in revenue. Sam is currently a Director of IDL Global and previously served as CEO of Lynguent Inc. an EDA company with a revolutionary software product enabling the fast creation of analog circuit models to dramatically reduce the simulation time for mixed signal circuits. Previously, Sam was VP of Marketing and Sales for Contour Semiconductor, a start-up with an innovative approach to non-volatile memory. Sam also held executive positions in several other successful companies ranging from start-up mode to hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.
Sam serves or has served on the advisory board or BOD of several high tech firms and has raised well over $100M in venture capital and formed many strategic relationships with fortune 500 companies. Sam has extensive experience in doing business in Asia and has been with six start-ups as a direct employee and a dozen more as an advisor or part time executive. Sam chaired the EIA/JEDEC standards committee for all memory for four years.
